FOND DU LAC, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's tennis won all nine flights of its dual win over Marian University on Wednesday night (Sept. 17), including straight set wins at No. 1 singles, No. 4 singles, No. 5 singles, and No. 3 doubles.

The Titans (3-1) have now won all 14 matches against the Sabres (1-4) in program history, dating back to an 8-1 win in Oshkosh on September 28, 1992, and have won the last four matchups by the way of the clean sweep.

Mana Usui (Franklin/Franklin) and
Kayla Gibbs (Muskego/Muskego) started the match with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles over Jillian Traver and Hazel Duchemin.
Olivia Pethan (Oshkosh/Fox Valley Lutheran) and
Courtney Carpenter (Oshkosh/Oshkosh West) followed in No. 2 doubles, beating Monserrat Luquin and Josephine Bruch, 6-1.
Jameson Gregory (Delavan/Big Foot) and
Sarah Schaeffer (Rock Springs/Reedsburg) wrapped up the doubles portion of the match with a 6-0 victory over Savannah Clark and Jennifer Pierga.

Pethan earned Oshkosh's first shutout singles win with a No. 1 flight victory over Jillian Traver.
Brianna Owens (Appleton/Kimberly) and
Cate Gerl (Joliet, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) added 6-0, 6-0 wins in the fourth and fifth flights.

At No. 2 singles, Usui posted a 6-1, 6-2 win over Luquin. Gibbs took No. 3 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 score and Schaeffer earned UW-Oshkosh's seventh point by defeating Madeline DeVries, 6-1, 6-2, in the sixth singles flight.

The Titans head up to De Pere on Saturday (Sept. 20) to take on St. Norbert College (2-1) at 11 a.m. Oshkosh has won each of the last seven matches over the Green Knights and 33 of the 41 matches since the programs first met in 1981.
