CHICAGO, Ill.- UW-Oshkosh women's soccer went on the road to take on North Park University (Ill.) on Wednesday (Sept. 24) and emerged victorious after three first half goals.

Ariana Gonzalez (Appleton/Appleton North) set a career high as found the back of the net twice while
Ella Duckmann (Elk Grove Village, Ill./Elk Grove) scored her first goal for the Titans.

The Titans (3-2-3) fired off a season high 19 shots with a season high of eight on goal to North Park's (3-6-0) 16 shots and six on goal.
Mallory Kerhin (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) saved four shots in the first half and
Larissa Likes (Kaukauna/Kaukauna) recorded her first minutes for the Titans in the second half, saving a pair of shots on goal.

Gonzalez attempted just three shots and was put all three on goal. Duckmann attempted four with three on goal.
Belle Dehner (Cottage Grove/Monona Grove) and
Anika Roush (Byron, Ill./Byron) rounded out UW-Oshkosh's shots on goal with one each.

The first goal of the match came quick for the Titans when in the fourth minute, Gonzalez scored on an assist from
Shannon Walsh (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) inside the box. The assist was Walsh's third of the year and the goal was Gonzalez's first of the match.

Five minutes later, UW-Oshkosh struck again. Duckmann took a misplayed ball by the Vikings and turned it into a 35-yard goal that sailed over the goalkeeper's head to give the Titans their first two goal lead of the season.

In the 33rd minute,
Delaney Sponholz (Fond du Lac/Fond du Lac) drew a hip check foul in the box to set up Oshkosh's first penalty kick of the season and Gonzalez converted by setting the ball in the bottom right corner of the goal for a 3-0 edge.

While there were no goals from either side in the second half,
Ella Duckmann (Elk Grove Village, Ill./Elk Grove) took both of the Titans' second half shots on goal in the 56th and 63rd minutes.

UW-Oshkosh is back on the pitch for the second of three straight road games in De Pere, where it will take on St. Norbert College 1-7) at 7 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 29). The Titans are 2-0-1 in their last three matchups against the Green Knights and 18-6-3 all time.
