OSHKOSH, Wis.- Collin Kao (Lindenhurst, Ill./Lakes Community) highlighted UW-Oshkosh men's track & field's performance in its annual alumni meet at Kolf Sports Center Saturday (Jan. 17) by breaking the programs' pole vault record.

Joined by Lawrence University and alumni from as far back as the 1960s, the 2026 meet honored former head men's cross country and track & field coach and 2013 UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame inductee,
John Zupanc.

Kao vaulted 5.09 meters, taking the win and breaking Eli Tranel's previous record (5.06 meters) by nearly a foot.
Ethan Stukenberg (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) and Christian St. Clair rounded out the top three in the event, with Stukenberg vaulting 4.64 meters and St. Clair vaulting 4.49 meters.

The Titans also swept the long jump, with
Dylan Doss (Sterling, Ill./Sterling) winning with a jump of 7.24 meters.
Brady Hoffer (Appleton/Kaukauna) grabbed second with 6.88 meters and
Christian Wallace (Kenosha/Indian Trail) rounded out the podium with 6.73 meters.

David Nkwogu won the triple jump at 14.43 meters and Wallace earned his second medal of the day, taking second with 13.83 meters.
Â
The Titans swept the high jump as well, with Hoffer earning his second medal of the day, winning with a best mark of 1.95 meters.
Cameron McAndrews (West Bend/West Bend West) and Josiah Hibbler both jumped 1.90 meters to round out the sweep.

Another sweep for the Titans was in the shot put, with Isaiah Isom winning with 17.03 meters.
Kieran Maude (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) and
Cameron Bendixen (DeForest/DeForest) placed second and third. Maude threw 15.98 meters and Bendixen threw 15.64 meters.

Titan field athletes also swept the weight throw, led by
Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute Career Pathways Academy), who threw 19.69 meters.
Bryce Hale (Appleton/Kimberly) was runner-up at 18.53 meters. Maude grabbed his second medal, taking third with a throw of 16.30 meters.

Lucas Nicholson (Pewaukee/Pewaukee) and
Xavier Lasee (North Fond du Lac/Horace Mann) earned the first podium finishes on the track in the 400-meter dash. The men had a photo finish; Nicholson won in 54.51 seconds, and Lasee took second in 54.54.

The Titans proceeded to sweep the 60-meter hurdles, with
Cavan Dobberstein (Manawa/Fox Valley Lutheran) winning in 8.43 seconds.
Jackson Zepnick (Suamico/Bay Port) placed second in 8.51 seconds and
Vince Nienhuis (Sheboygan/Sheboygan North) rounded out the top three in 8.52 seconds.

Nolan Milas (Virgil, Ill./Burlington Central) dominated in the 60-meter dash, winning with 6.76 seconds.
Henry Kennedy (Carpentersville, Ill./Dundee-Crown) grabbed bronze in the event, running 7.13 seconds.

Cameron Cullen (Kewaunee/Kewaunee) and
Owen Koele (Reeseville/Waterloo) claimed medals in the 800-meter run. Cullen placed second in 1:57.47 and Koele third in 2:00.95.

The Titans swept another event in the 200-meter dash, with Payton Hale coming out on top in 22.79 seconds.
Kaden Arndt (Waldo/Oostburg) and
Caleb Wright (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) rounded out the podium with Arndt running a 23.11 and Wright running a 23.14.

In the 4x400-meter relay, the team of Doss,
Keith Cyracus (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North),
Brandon Marks (Antioch, Ill./Antioch Community) and
Ben Lissa (Silvis, Ill./United Township) claimed gold, running a time of 3:25.80.

The Titans return to action on Friday (Jan. 23) as they travel to Ripon College for the Red Hawk Opener.
