OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team hosted the
John Zupanc Alumni & Friends Invitational at Kolf Sports Center Saturday (Jan. 17). The meet consisted of the Titans, Lawrence University, and Titan track & field alumni.

The first podium finish on the track went to
Gwen Feitl (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville South) and
Allison VanDerWegen (Kaukauna/Kaukauna) in the mile run. Feitl placed second in 5:25.29 and VanDerWegen finished third in 5:33.62.

The Titans proceeded to sweep the 400-meter dash, with
Megan Hoffman (Clayton/Clayton) winning the event in 1:02.05.
Anabel Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) placed second in 1:02.61 and
Adriana Garcia (Green Bay/Green Bay East) snagged third in 1:03.23.

Oshkosh continued with another sweep in the 60-meter hurdles.
Maya Van Schyndel (Little Chute/Little Chute) was victorious in 9.29 seconds, with
Amaya Lafontant (West Bend/West Bend West) taking second in 9.48 seconds and
Willow Crecelius (Janesville/Parkview Junior/Senior) finishing third in 9.81 seconds. Baker also won the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.19 seconds.

Addie Baker (Delavan/Elkhorn Area) and
Lydia Hofacker (Shiocton/Shiocton) earned medals in the 60-meter dash Baker took second in 8.09 seconds and Hofacker claimed third in 8.21.

The Titans also swept the 800-meter run, led by
Emma Boegh (Berlin/Berlin), who finished in 2:19.55.
Lehna Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) grabbed silver in 2:22.98 and
Maddy LaVoi (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny Centennial) rounded out the sweep in 2:23.24.

The team of Baker, Hofacker,
Jenna Pierre (West Bend/West Bend West) and
Jade Gumila (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) took home gold in the 4x400-meter relay, running a time of 4:13.27.

In the field,
Halle Meyer (Kiel/Kiel) took the win in the high jump with a jump of 1.46 meters.
Aimee Footit (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) grabbed third in the event with a jump of 1.41 meters.

Gumila won the triple jump with a best jump of 10.06 meters and
Paige Smolinski (Waukesha/Waukesha North) was runner-up at 9.59 meters.

Brooklyn Manz (Kiel/Kiel) won the shot put with a throw of 12.91 meters and
Carly Huelskamp (St. Germain/Northland Pines) snagged third, casting 11.43 meters.

The pole vault resulted in a Titan sweep, led by
Bri Meyer's (Beaver Dam/Beaver Dam) 3.16-meter height.
Emerson Clark (Ladysmith/Ladysmith) took second with 3.01 meters and Shelia Tellock completed the sweep with a vault of 2.86 meters.

Kaelyn Bilello (Menomonee Falls/Menomonee Falls) and
Abi Masloroff (Franklin/Franklin) claimed the top two spots in the weight throw. Bilello won with a throw of 15.58 meters, and Masloroff was runner-up with a throw of 15.47 meters.

The Titans travel to Ripon on Friday (Jan. 23) for the Ripon College Red Hawk Opener.
