SAINT PETER, Minn.- UW-Oshkosh women's gymnastics competed away from Kolf Sports Center for the first time in the 2026 season on Friday (Jan. 23) and left Gustavus Adolphus College's Sponberg Gymnastics Studio with a 191.625-183.575 victory over the host Gusties.

The Titans, who are ranked second nationally on
RoadToNationals.com, have won each of the last eight duals with the Gusties and scored at least 190 points against the WIAC opponent for the third consecutive season, won all four team titles by scoring 47.625 points on the uneven bars, 48.450 points on the vault, 47.850 points in the floor exercise and 47.700 points on the balance beam.

Four Oshkosh gymnasts won three of the four individual event crowns.

Amaya McConkay (Broken Arrow, Okla./Union) led the Titans with a 9.650 on the uneven bars, which earned her the top position in the event. Oshkosh took each of the following three placements as
Lydia Hayden (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield) secured second at 9.600 points,
Hannah Hughes (Selden, N.Y./Newfield) third at 9.575 and
Averie Evans (Fort Worth, Texas/Boswell) fourth at 9.550

Fellow Titan newcomers
Kris Phillips (Warrenton, Mo./Warrenton) and
Talynn Rae Gallegos (Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) tied each other atop the vault standings with matching scores of 9.725 points. McConkay grabbed her second top-3 finish with a 9.700-point tally, trailed in a fourth-place tie between
Ome Ellis (Oak Park, Mich./Royal Oak) and
Hannah Hughes (Selden, N.Y./Newfield) at 9.650 points. Evans rounded out the top eight with a 9.575.

During the floor exercise,
Jay Ratkowski (Franklin/Franklin) paced all gymnasts with 9.725 points, Gallegos claimed second with 9.700 and Ellis scored a 9.625 for third.

In the only event Oshkosh did not win, Ellis placed second on the balance beam by scoring a 9.675 closely behind Kate Clairmont's first-place score of 9.700 points.
Sam Dorrity (Lewisville, Texas/iUniversity Prep) and
Hannah Hughes (Selden, N.Y./Newfield) took third and fourth with respective tallies of 9.650 and 9.550.

The Titans will travel to Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the Southeast Missouri State University Quadrangular on Sunday, February 1 at 1 p.m. They will compete against three NCAA Division I programs, including the host Gymhawks, Illinois State University and Ball State University (Ind.).
