OSHKOSH, Wis.-Â Kyle Hayes is the new assistant strength & conditioning coach for the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Department.

The first assistant strength & conditioning coach in UW-Oshkosh athletics history, Hayes will assist head strength & conditioning coach Mandy Eggert's efforts across Oshkosh's 21 varsity sports.

Hayes comes to UW-Oshkosh after serving the Appleton Area School District for nine years as a part of Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. Hayes was the head strength & conditioning coach at Appleton East High School from 2021-25 and an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Appleton North High School from 2018-21.

Hayes, who earned a bachelor of science degree from UW-Stevens Point in 2003 as a business administration major, was also a personal trainer at the Appleton YMCA from 2017-20 since a 14-year stint at Accurate Appraisal in Menasha.
