Hayes Joins Titans As Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

OSHKOSH, Wis.- Kyle Hayes is the new assistant strength & conditioning coach for the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Department.

The first assistant strength & conditioning coach in UW-Oshkosh athletics history, Hayes will assist head strength & conditioning coach Mandy Eggert's efforts across Oshkosh's 21 varsity sports.

"From our very first conversations, Kyle's authenticity, enthusiasm, and passion stood out immediately," Eggert said. "I knew right away he would be an outstanding addition to the strength & conditioning program at UWO."

"What we do goes far beyond improving performance. It's about building trust, fostering relationships and developing athletes the right way."

Hayes comes to UW-Oshkosh after serving the Appleton Area School District for nine years as a part of Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. Hayes was the head strength & conditioning coach at Appleton East High School from 2021-25 and an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Appleton North High School from 2018-21.

"I'm excited to be part of UWO, the athletic department and to work with Coach Eggert," Hayes said. "I look forward to building relationships with the student-athletes, coaches and staff."

Hayes, who earned a bachelor of science degree from UW-Stevens Point in 2003 as a business administration major, was also a personal trainer at the Appleton YMCA from 2017-20 since a 14-year stint at Accurate Appraisal in Menasha.

"Kyle's journey has given him a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for this profession," Eggert said. "His energy, passion, and relentless commitment to athlete development will make an immediate and lasting impact on the Titan athletics program."
