CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.- UW-Oshkosh women's gymnastics took second in Sunday's (Feb. 1) quadrangular hosted by NCAA Division I program Southeast Missouri State University.

The Titans, ranked second in the
National Collegiate Gymnastics Association, scored 194.525 points, outscoring the host Gymhawks (194.500) and Illinois State University. (193.975). Ball State University (Ind.) won the team title with 195.675 points.

Oshkosh scored 48.750 points on the vault, 48.700 points on the uneven bars and balance beam, and 48.375 points in the floor exercise. The vault total was a program record, besting 48.725 points on the vault during last season's home quadrangular on February 27, 2025. The only meet the Titans scored more points in than Sunday's combined total was the 2024 NCGA Championship (194.975).

Reanna McGibboney (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) led the Titans on the vault with a third-place score of 9.825 points. Her finish tied her personal best from the 2023 Rutgers University (N.J.) January Meet.
Ome Ellis (Oak Park, Mich./Royal Oak) tallied her first collegiate 9.800 on the apparatus, which was good for sixth. Outside the top eight,
Amaya McConkay (Broken Arrow, Okla./Union) and
Talynn Rae Gallegos (Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) both recorded 9.725s,
Kris Phillips (Warrenton, Mo./Warrenton) scored 9.675 points, and
Hannah Hughes (Selden, N.Y./Newfield) earned a 9.625.

Averie Evans (Fort Worth, Texas/Boswell) secured fourth place on the uneven bars with a total of 9.800 points, the highest bars score of her career.
Hadley Bretschneider (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southwest),
Lydia Hayden (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield), McConkay and McGibboney all scored 9.725 points to take ninth while Hughes rounded out the Titans' lineup with a 9.550.

Hughes tied a trio of Division I gymnasts atop the balance beam standings, scoring 9.825 points for the first time. Ellis earned 9.800 points for her routine, good for fifth.
Jay Ratkowski (Franklin/Franklin),
Jurnee Warkentien (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton) and
Sam Dorrity (Lewisville, Texas/iUniversity Prep) also collected scores over 9.500 at 9.750, 9.675 and 9.650, respectively.

McGibboney paced Oshkosh on the floor with a 9.800-point tally which secured her fifth place. Gallegos tallied a 9.725, Warkentien and Ellis each earned a 9.675 and
Taylor Leaman (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) scored a 9.500.

The Titans return to NCGA action on Friday (Feb. 6), facing No. 1 UW-La Crosse at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagles' Mitchell Hall.
