WHITEWATER, Wis.- Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute Career Pathways Academy) and
Collin Kao (Lindenhurst, Ill./Lakes Community) both set program records on Saturday (Feb. 14) as UW-Oshkosh men's track & field competed in the non-scoring UW-Whitewater Midwest Elite Invitational.

The meet kicked off Friday night (Feb. 13) with the 5,000-meter run.
Cameron Cullen (Kewaunee/Kewaunee) led the Titans, running 14:28.70 for sixth place in a field that consisted of 126 finishers.

Fritsch, who currently leads NCAA Division III in the weight throw, broke Pete Delzer's program record in the event with a cast of 20.74 meters.
Bryce Hale (Appleton/Kimberly),
Kieran Maude (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) and
Isaiah Baez-Isom (Lansing, Ill./Thornton Fractional South) all placed top five in the event as well. Hale threw 18.64 meters for second place, Maude threw 17.82 meters for fourth and Isom threw 17.46 meters for fifth.

Isom and Maude also earned the top two spots in the shot put. Isom won the event at 17.13 meters and Maude claimed second with a best distance of 15.96 meters.

Colin Kao broke the Titans' pole vault record for the fourth time this season when he cleared the bar at 5.25 meters. His height leads Division III this season.

The Titans also claimed three of the top four spots in the long jump.
Joshua Rivers (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) led the way with a 7.42 meter jump and
Caleb Wright (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) was second with 7.05 meters.
Cavan Dobberstein (Manawa/Fox Valley Lutheran) snagged fourth with a jump of 6.91 meters.

Max Milbrath (Durand, Ill./Durand) snagged fifth place in the triple jump, jumping 13.51 meters, and
Christian Thompson (Milwaukee/Ronald Reagan) won the high jump with 2.02 meters.

On the track,
Xavier Lasee (North Fond du Lac/Horace Mann) earned the Titans' first medal on Saturday, running a personal record of 4:19.90 in the mile.

Vince Nienhuis (Sheboygan/Sheboygan North) and Matt Scholbe swept the top two positions in the 60-meter hurdles with times of 8.43 and 8.44 seconds, respectively.

Lucas Nicholson (Pewaukee/Pewaukee) won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.15, followed by
Noah Callahan (Barlett, Ill./South Elgin) in fifth with a 1:56.15 finish.

Peyton Hale (Lancaster/Lancaster) took fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.50 seconds.

The Titans host their final indoor meet of the season next Saturday (Feb. 21). The Titan Challenge will take place in Kolf Sports Center, starting at 10 a.m.
