IOWA CITY, Iowa- Joshua Rivers (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) outpaced the long jump field during the Division I University of Iowa Open in the Hawkeyes' Indoor Track Facility on Friday (Feb. 20), and set the meet record in the process.

Rivers beat out 11 other long jumpers on Friday afternoon with a best mark of 7.63 meters, including eight Division I athletes. He now owns seven of the 15 furthest distances in Division III history, including the national record of 8.13 meters.

After finishing the preliminary round of the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.74 seconds,
Dylan Doss (Sterling, Ill./Sterling) set his personal record in the event with a 6.65-second finish in the final round. His time also won the event and moved him into first on this season's Division III performance list.

Davian Willems (De Pere/West De Pere) and
Nolan Milas (Virgil, Ill./Burlington Central) also ran in the 60-meter dash. Willems qualified for the finals at 6.82 seconds, but did not start the final, and Milas ran a 6.89.

The Titans will host the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge in Kolf Sports Center on Saturday (Feb. 21) with the first field events starting at 10 a.m. and the track events beginning at 10:30 a.m.
