PLATTEVILLE, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's track & field wrapped up the second day of the WIAC Championship hosted by UW-Platteville in Williams Center with a third-place total of 53 points.

UW-La crosse won the team title with 328 points and UW-Eau Claire was the runner-up at 109.25. After the Titans, UW-Stevens Point place fourth with 45 points, UW-Platteville fifth with 44, UW-River Falls sixth with 30.5, UW-Stout seventh with 27 and UW-Whitewater eighth with 26.25.

Maya Van Schyndel (Little Chute/Little Chute) and
Amaya Lafontant (West Bend/West Bend West) scored a combined six points in the final round of the 60-meter hurdles. Van Schyndel took fourth in 8.90 seconds and Lafontant took eighth in 9.27.

In the 800-meter run,
Emma Boegh (Berlin/Berlin) ran a 2:19.14 for sixth place before
Amelia Lehman (Oshkosh/Valley Christian) wrapped up the distance events with her second individual event win of the meet with a finish of 9:51.43 in the 3,000-meter run. Between her pair of individual wins and the first place distance medley relay squad, Lehman contributed to 30 of the Titans' 53 points.

Megan Hoffman (Clayton/Clayton),
Jenna Pierre (West Bend/West Bend West) and
Maddy LaVoi (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny Centennial) placed third in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:55.93.

The Titans will compete in the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier before competing in the Division III Indoor Championship in Birmingham, Ala. on March 13-14.
