BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- On Friday (March 13), UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team competed in two events during the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship in the Birmingham CrossPlex.

Centre College (Ky.) currently leads the meet with 25 points. The Titans did not compete in any scoring events on Friday.

The Titans, ranked 13th in Division III by the
U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, saw their distance medley relay team compete, as well as
Amelia Lehman (Oshkosh/Valley Christian) in the preliminary round of the mile run.

Lehman advanced to Saturday's (March 14) final in the mile run by placing third in her heat with a time of 4:51.71. Lehman will compete in the final of the mile, as well as the 3,000-meter run during the final day of the national meet.

The distance medley relay team of
Emma Boegh (Berlin/Berlin),
Maddy LaVoi (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny Centennial),
Adriana Garcia (Green Bay/Green Bay East), and
Lehna Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) competed as well. The Titans placed eleventh with a time of 12:07.34. Boegh ran the 1,200-meter leg, LaVoi the 400-meter leg, Garcia the 800-meter leg and Mitchell anchored with the mile leg.
