KENOSHA, Wis., LA CROSSE, Wis., and WAVERLY, Iowa- UW-Oshkosh men's track & field went to a trio of final qualifier meets on Friday and Saturday (March 6-7) ahead of the NCAA Division III Championship.

The throws crew went to the Carthage College Firebird Finale on Friday.

Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute Career Pathways Academy) won the weight throw with a best throw of 20.72 meters, followed by
Jack Wellhoefer (Omro/Omro) in sixth at 17.03 and
Kieran Maude (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) in seventh at 16.98. Maude led the Titans in the shot put with a fifth-place mark of 15.62 meters.
Cameron Bendixen (DeForest/DeForest) threw 15.02 meters for seventh and Wellhoefer finished eighth at 14.14.

On Saturday, Oshkosh sent a variety of event crews to the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier.

Matthew Eiden (Stevens Point/SPASH) and
Lucas Koerselman (West Des Moines, Iowa/Valley) ran in the 400-meter run and took the fifth and sixth positions with respective times of 49.91 and 49.94.

Eddie Jones (Waukesha/Catholic Memorial) placed fourth in the final round of the 60-meter dash in 6.82 seconds.

Christian Thompson (Milwaukee/Ronald Reagan) took third and
Jo Hibbler (Menasha/Menasha) fourth in the high jump. Thompson cleared the bar at 1.98 meters and Hibbler finished at 1.93 meters before Christian St. Clair recorded a 4.85-meter mark to take sixth in the pole vault.

Over in the horizontal jumping events,
Ben Lissa (Silvis, Ill./United Township) and
Christian Wallace (Kenosha/Indian Trail) took sixth and seventh in the triple jump at 13.77 and 13.54, and
Keith Cyracus (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) cleared 6.38 meters to take eighth in the long jump.

Bryce Hale (Appleton/Kimberly) won the weight throw in La Crosse at 19.29 meters and
Isaiah Baez-Isom (Lansing, Ill./Thornton Fractional South) took sixth in the shot put at 16.02 meters.

Distance runners traveled to Iowa to run in the Warburg College Final Qualifier.

Cameron Cullen (Kewaunee/Kewaunee) ran an 8:27.13 in the 3,000-meter run, which netted him a third-place finish.
Lucas Nicholson (Pewaukee/Pewaukee) placed inside the top eight with a 1:53.70 in the 800-meter run.
Dwight Hosni (Cedarburg/Cedarburg) and
Noah Callahan (Barlett, Ill./South Elgin) also ran in the event, finishing in 2:01.71 and 2:08.54, respectively.

The Titans will officially find out who qualified for the national championship in Birmingham, Ala. at 6 p.m. Sunday (March 8), when the NCAA publishes the qualifiers lists.
