OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team hosted their lone home meet on Friday and Saturday (April 10-11).

The meet took place over both days this weekend, starting on Friday, April 10 and ending on Saturday, April 11.
Â
Halle Meyer (Kiel/Kiel) led the Titans' heptathletes, placing fourth in the multi over both days. Meyer scored 3,614 points.
Anna Bubolz (Fremont/Weyauwega-Fremont) placed fifth, scoring 3,517 points.

Haley Kanitz (Menomonee Falls/Menomonee Falls) started the Titans off strong in the field on Saturday, collecting a bronze medal in the pole vault at 3.38 meters.

Megan Geason (Franklin/Oak Creek), making her Titan track & field debut after playing for the national semifinalist women's basketball team this winter, collected a silver medal in the high jump, jumping 1.60 meters.
Aimee Footit (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) placed fourth in the event, jumping 1.50 meters. Geason doubled back in the triple jump, winning the title with a best skip of 11.94 meters.

Abi Masloroff (Franklin/Franklin) placed second in the hammer throw at 51.71 meters.
Ruby Goldstein (Somerset/Somerset) and
Alana Noggle (De Pere/West De Pere) placed fourth and fifth with Goldstein throwing 46.69 meters and Noggle throwing 46.61 meters. Goldstein came back to win the discus, throwing 45.35 meters. Noggle placed fourth in the event with a throw of 38.03 meters.

Brooklyn Manz (Kiel/Kiel) earned silver in the shot put, throwing 12.59 meters.
Carly Huelskamp (St. Germain/Northland Pines) was fifth in the event, throwing 11.84 meters.

On the track,
Ashley Groothoff (Two Rivers/Two Rivers) was the first top-five finisher for the Titans. She took fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 20:28.

Maya Van Schyndel (Little Chute/Little Chute) grabbed bronze in the 100-meter hurdles, running a time of 15.10 seconds.

Addie Baker (Delavan/Elkhorn Area) earned the first gold medal on the track for the Titans, winning the 400-meter dash in 59.95 seconds.

Megan Hoffman (Clayton/Clayton) placed fourth in the 800-meter run with a personal record of 2:17.77.

Lydia Hofacker (Shiocton/Shiocton) and
Maddy LaVoi (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny Centennial) placed third and fourth in the 400 meter hurdles. Hofacker earned bronze in 1:05.72 and LaVoi ran a 1:06.14 for fourth.

Emma Boegh (Berlin/Berlin),
Madeline Osmanski (Algonquin, Ill./Harry D. Jacobs) and
Ella Galaszewski (West Allis/Nathan Hale) placed third, fourth and fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with respective finishes of 12:06.39, 12:19.33 and 12:31.02.

The Titans' 4x400-meter relay team of Hoffman, Boegh,
Anabel Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) and
Adriana Garcia (Green Bay/Green Bay East) placed second with a time of 4:18.86.

The Titans also sent athletes to UW-Platteville to compete in the 5,000-meter run on Friday.
Lehna Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) highlighted the Titans finishers with a 48th-place, personal-best finish of 17:38.

The Titans return next Friday and Saturday (April 17-18) for multiple meets. The UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge takes place over both days and the Lawrence University Viking Twilight takes place Saturday.
