DES MOINES, Iowa/DE PERE, Wis.- A pair of relay records fell as UW-Oshkosh men's track & field competed in the Drake University (Iowa) Relays and the St. Norbert College Inviational between Wednesday and Saturday (April 22-25).

The Titans highlighted their time in Des Moines with a two program records. The team of
Sean Malay (Denmark/Denmark),
Dylan Doss (Sterling, Ill./Sterling),
Tyran Bender (Bradley, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais Community) and
Londyn Little (Columbia, Ill./Columbia) ran a 3:09.28 to set the new standard in the 4x400-meter relay. The 4x100 meter team of
Eddie Jones (Waukesha/Catholic Memorial), Doss, Little and Nolan proceeded to win the event with a blistering time of 39.79 seconds.

At St. Norbert,
Aaron Nehls (Fredonia/Ozaukee) got the Titans off to a hot start on the track, winning the 5000-meter run in 15:35.55.

Vince Nienhaus claimed a silver medal in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing the event in 15.40 seconds.

Also placing second,
Jason Skinkis (Seymour/Seymour) completed the 1,500-meter run in 4:00.47.
Â
Lucas Koerselman (West Des Moines, Iowa/Valley) earned bronze in the 400-meter dash, running a 51.40.

Peyton Hale (Lancaster/Lancaster) and
Henry Kennedy (Carpentersville, Ill./Dundee-Crown) went one-two in the 100-meter dash. Hale ran a 10.86 and Kennedy a 10.91 for the event. The duo came back for the 200-meter dash, also placing one-two with respective times of 22.19 and 22.39 seconds.

In the 400-meter hurdles,
Brandon Marks (Antioch, Ill./Antioch Community) was runner-up at 56.09 seconds.

In the field, the Titans throwers came out hot, claiming second and third in the shot put.
Cameron Bendixen (DeForest/DeForest) threw 16.43 meters and
Kieran Maude (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) threw 16.41 meters. Maude came back and won the hammer throw with a toss of 57.38 meters. He then tripled with the discus, throwing 48.25 meters for third.

Bryce Smith (De Pere/West De Pere) threw the javelin 44.05 meters, good for second place.

Josiah Hibbler claimed gold in the high jump with a leap of 1.92 meters.
Â
The Titans also swept the podium in the long jump.
Cavan Dobberstein (Manawa/Fox Valley Lutheran) led the way at 7.00 meters,
Keith Cyracus (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) was runner-up at 6.88, and
Cameron McAndrews (West Bend/West Bend West) secured the sweep at 6.79.

Ben Lissa (Silvis, Ill./United Township) won the triple jump, securing the win with a skip of 13.55 meters.

The pole vaulters ended the meet strong, sweeping the podium.
Collin Kao (Lindenhurst, Ill./Lakes Community), program record-holder in both editions of the event, led the way at 5.20 meters,
Seth Hopperdietzel (Colby/Colby) was runner-up with a best height of 4.70 meters and
Ethan Stukenberg (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) rounded out the podium at 4.55 meters.

The Titans return to the track on Friday and Saturday (May 2-3) for the WIAC Championship. The meet is hosted by UW-La Crosse at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.
