LA CROSSE, Wis.- Three Titans won four events during the UW-La Crosse Ashton May Invitational on Friday (April 3) in a rainy day in La Crosse.

Oshkosh earned its first medal finishes in the 5,000-meter run.
Aaron Nehls (Fredonia/Ozaukee) place fourth and
Zachary Dietsch (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers) took sixth with respective times of 15:58.87 and 16:05.58.

Four Titans placed in the 800-meter run, led by
Luke Beeksma's (/) first-place time of 1:58.85.
Jett Breed (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) ran a 1:59.58 for fourth,
Jacob Hite (Necedah/Necedah) ran a 2:00.89 for sixth and
Zac Watson (Waukesha/Waukesha South) ran a 2:02.64 for seventh. Watson followed up with a 10:40.76 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, which was good for second place.

Breed, Beeksma,
Owen Koele (Reeseville/Waterloo) and Watson competed in the 4x400-meter relay, taking second in 3:30.80.

Christian St. Clair placed sixth in the pole vault – which was one of the field events that was moved inside Hetzel Fieldhouse – with a height of 4.70 meters.

Jo Hibbler (Menasha/Menasha) won the high jump title at 2.01 meters indoors and
Christian Thompson (Milwaukee/Ronald Reagan) cleared the bar at 1.91 meters to take fourth.

In the horizontal jumps,
Keith Cyracus (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) took fifth in the long jump at 6.58 meters while
Dave Nkwogu (Lansing, Ill./Thornton Fractional South) and
Christian Wallace (Kenosha/Indian Trail) placed fifth and seventh in the triple jump with distances of 13.39 and 13.05 meters, respectively.

Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute Career Pathways Academy) won both the discus and hammer throw, marking off best casts of 48.85 meters in the discus and 58.80 meters in the hammer. He was joined by
Kieran Maude (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) and
Cameron Bendixen (DeForest/DeForest) in the discus top eight and
Bryce Hale (Appleton/Kimberly) in the top-eight finishers in the hammer. Maude threw 41.10 meters for third, Bendixen 40.68 meters for fourth and Hale 55.94 meters for third.

In the shot put, Isaiah Isom placed fifth with a 15.14-meter throw and Maude placed sixth at 14.80.

The Titans return to action on Friday, April 10 for the two-day UW-Oshkosh Titan Invitational & Multi at the Oshkosh Sports Complex.
