OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh Athletics is hiring an assistant sports information director to assist the sports information director in the execution of the communications strategy in support of unit communication goals for UW-Oshkosh Athletics' 22 intercollegiate programs.

The assistant sports information director is a terminal (fixed-term) appointment responsible for communicating with stakeholders to verify requests and identify editorial resources, planning editorial content according to established goals and objects, providing project management and execution of communications programs, initiatives and tactical plans, monitoring reach and effectiveness of communication campaigns, projects and initiatives and writing, editing, and publishing content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns.

Required qualifications include: a bachelor's degree in journalism, sport management or related field, one to three years undergraduate athletics communications experience at the professional or collegiate level, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in StatCrew, Genius Live Stats (NCAA Live Stats), Presto Stats and Virtius, proficiency in Google applications and Microsoft Office programs, a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NCAA Division III athletics and its rules and regulations and a demonstrated ability to organize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and plan schedules.
