Panasuk (Oak Creek, Oak Creek) earned WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday (Sept. 29) following her performances from Sept. 21-27.
Panasuk led the back row for UW-Oshkosh during a 2-0 week, totaling 37 digs across six sets for an average of 6.17 digs per set as the Titans earned a pair of three-set victories. She opened the week with 15 digs in UW-Oshkosh's WIAC-opening sweep of UW-River Falls, helping hold the Falcons to a .000 hitting percentage for the match. Panasuk followed with a match-high 22 digs, averaging 7.33 per set, in a sweep of Milwaukee School of Engineering as the Titans limited the Raiders to a .052 hitting percentage, including a -.129 mark in the third set. She did not commit a reception error across the two matches while helping the Titans improve to 13-1 overall and 1-0 in WIAC play.
Panasuk and the rest of the Titans will return to WIAC play Friday (Oct. 3), traveling to face UW-Stevens Point at 7 p.m.
