Box Score

Mackenzie Schoustra's goal in the second overtime period gave St. Olaf College (Minn.) a 2-1 victory over the UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team on Sunday (Sept. 11) in Duluth, Minn.

Schoustra, who recorded the winning score on her only shot of the contest, ended play 123 seconds (102 minutes, 3 seconds overall) into the second extra session. Following a pass from Hannah Stoker, Schoustra kicked a ball that entered the goal after deflecting off a UW-Oshkosh player.

UW-Oshkosh, which was playing St. Olaf College for the first time since 2007, took a 1-0 lead on Rachel Elliott's third goal of the season during the 21st minute (20:56) of play. Robyn Elliott, Rachel Elliott's twin sister, assisted on a goal that was scored off a kick into an open net.

St. Olaf College (3-1) trailed until it tied the score on a short shot by Abby Stets during the game's 52nd minute (51:28). Stets registered the goal after retrieving a corner kick launched by teammate Grace Bestler.

UW-Oshkosh (3-2) totaled 13 shots, including 11 that were saved by St. Olaf College goalkeepers Julie Johnson and Lulu Regules Verduzco. Johnson stopped eight shots during her 84:15 of play while Regules Verduzco blocked three shots during her 17:48 of action, including a header by Robyn Elliott and a kick by Maddie Morris during the first overtime period.

UW-Oshkosh's shot count feature two each from Taylor Arnold, Rachel Elliott, AJ Jackson and Delaney Karl.

St. Olaf College, which defeated UW-Oshkosh's WIAC rivals UW-Eau Claire and UW-River Falls earlier this season, attempted 14 shots against Titan goalkeeper Jessica Galason. Galason recorded five saves, two in the first half and three in the second.

The Oles were paced by the three shots from Bestler and the two apiece from Stets and Emily Helle.

UW-Oshkosh, which finished with 10 of the game's 15 corner kicks, placed Rachel Elliott, Robyn Elliott and Felicia Retrum on the 12-member all-tournament team.

The Titans conclude their five-match road trip at St. Norbert College on Thursday (Sept. 15).
