ROCK ISLAND, Ill.- The UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team competed at the Augustana College (Ill.) Interregional Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 19). The team took 20th place with 547 points. No. 2 nationally ranked Wartburg College (Iowa) won the meet with 41 points. Christian Patzka, last year's national runner up, won the meet for the second year in a row with a time of 23:52.

Cameron Cullen (Jr. • Kewaunee) led the Titans, setting a new personal record of 24:51 for a 25th place finish.
Alex Peterson (So. • Oconto Falls) was second, running 26:08 for 134th.
Trent Chadwick (Jr. • Poynette) set a new personal record as well, running 26:10 and finishing in 141st.
Joe Freng (Jr. • Sun Prairie) was fourth and took 171st with a time of 26:27. The fifth runner for the Titans was
John Thill (Jr. • Oshkosh), who finished in 175th with a time of 26:30.

Paul Proteau (Jr. • Riverside, Ill.) was sixth, finishing in 189th with a time of 26:34.
Bennett Midthun (Fr. • Fond du Lac) was the Titans' seventh runner, finishing in 221st with a time of 26:51.
Xavier Lasee (Gr. • North Fond du Lac) finished in 237th place, running a 26:58.
Jason Skinkis (So. • Seymour) finished in 242nd with a time of 27:01.
Eli Traeder (Jr. • Cottage Grove) was 249th, running 27:03.
Owen Bostwick (Jr. • Whitefish Bay) ran 27:20 for 284th place.
The Titans return next Friday, (Oct. 25) for the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Open.
