GREEN LAKE, Wis.- On Thursday (Nov. 7), the UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team competed at the Ripon College Red Hawk Open held at Tuscumbia Golf Course in Green Lake. The Titans won the meet with a perfect score of 15 points and nine Titans were the top nine collegiate finishers. The meet was won by UW-Oshkosh alum
Jason Ford, who finished in a time of 26:38.
John Thill (Jr. • Oshkosh) was the Titans' top runner, finishing in second with a time of 26:40.
Alex Arndt (Fr. • Milwaukee) was third with 27:14.
Aaron Nehls (Fr. • Fredonia) finished in fourth with 27:42.
Ben O'Brien (Fr. • Cecil) was fifth in a time of 28:24.
Connor Reed (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) locked up the sweep for Oshkosh with a sixth place finish of 28:40. Right behind him was
Evan Peterson (So. • Oconto Falls), who finished in 28:41 for seventh place.
Zac Watson (Fr. • Waukesha) was the seventh runner for the Titans, placing eighth in a time of 28:56.
Noah Mosley (Fr. • Waukesha) finished in ninth in 29:29.
Jerry Sowers (Fr. • Oshkosh) was the ninth Titan in the top ten, finishing in 10th with 29:35.
The Titans travel to Northfield, Minn. for the NCAA Division III North Regional Championship next Saturday (Nov. 16), hosted by Carleton College.
