WHITEWATER, Wis. - On Saturday (Oct. 25), the UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team ran at the Warhawk Open hosted by UW-Whitewater. The Titans finished in third place with 55 points. The meet was won by UW-Whitewater with 33 points. Paul Pfeifer of UW-Platteville won the meet in a time of 26:28.

Xavier Lasee (Grad. • North Fond du Lac) led the Titans with a sixth place finish, running a new personal record of 26:35. Jason Skinkis (So. • Seymour) also picked up a new personal record, running 26:45 for eighth place. Eli Traeder (Sr. • Cottage Grove) was right behind him for ninth in a time of 26:49. Owen Bostwick (Jr. • Whitefish Bay) finished in 14th place, running 27:02. Aaron Nehls (Fr. • Fredonia) was the Titans fifth runner, finishing in 20th place with a time of 27:30. Alex Bernhardt (So. • Appleton) was sixth for the Titans, running 27:46 for 28th place. Zach Nelson (Sr. • Mount Horeb) was the Titans seventh runner, finishing in 27:53 for 30th place.

Ben O'Brien (Fr. • Cecil) was next, running 28:01 for 34th place. Connor Reed (Fr. • St. Charles, Ill.) finished in 39th place, running 28:29. Noah Mosley (Fr. • Waukesha) and Colin Smith (Fr. • Pardeeville) finished in 41st and 42nd respectively, with Mosley running 28:40 and Smith running 28:47. Evan Peterson (So. • Gillett) finished in 44th, running 29:09. Jerry Sowers (Fr. • Oshkosh), Reid Cross (Fr. • Winchester), Alex Arndt (Fr. • Milwaukee), and Zach Osmanski (Jr. • Algonquin, Ill.) finished in 47th, 48th, 49th, and 50th respectively. Sowers ran 29:24, Cross ran 29:43, Arndt ran 29:54, and Osmanski ran 30:04. Nick Vey (Jr. • Oshkosh) finished in 52nd, running 30:35.

The Titans return next Saturday (Nov. 2) for the WIAC Cross Country Championship hosted by UW-Stevens Point.
