WHITEWATER, Wis. - On Friday (Oct. 25), the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team ran at the Warhawk Open hosted by UW-Whitewater. The Titans finished in third place with 50 points. The meet was won by Viterbo University with 26 points. Tori Gerber of Viterbo won the meet in a time of 23:49.
Zoe Watson (So. • Kiel) and
Emma Maly (So. • Clinton) led the Titans with sixth and seventh place finishes respectively. Watson finished in 25:20 and Maly finished in 25:28.
Ella Galaszewski (Jr. • West Allis) was third for the Titans, running 26:03 for 10th place. Not far behind her was
Julia Strasser (Sr. • South Milwaukee), who finished in 12th with a time of 26:11. Setting a new personal record was the Titans fifth runner
Anabel Mitchell (Fr. • Oshkosh), who finished in 15th place in a time of 27:06.
Autumn Jacks (Fr. • Viola) was right behind her for 16th place in a time of 27:17. The seventh runner for the Titans was
Paige Hagner (Sr. • Mukwonago), who finished in 18th place with a time of 27:37.
Maddie Bertram (Sr. • Winnebago, Ill.) ran 27:46 for 19th place.
Kate Haffner (Jr. • Darien, Ill.) finished in 23rd in a time of 29:18.
The Titans return next Saturday (Nov. 2), for the WIAC Championship hosted by UW-Stevens Point.
