REEDSBURG, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's golf team ended the second day of the WIAC Championship (Presented by Culver's) with 336 strokes, moving its total to 656 (30-over par), good for fourth.

UW-Whitewater remains in first at 625 strokes (49-over par), UW-Stout moved up to second with 633 (57-over par), UW-La Crosse moved up to third with 648 (72-over par), UW-Platteville is fifth with 671 (95-over par), UW-Eau Claire is sixth with 682 (106-over par), UW-River Falls is seventh with 693 (117-over par), and UW-Stevens Point is eighth with 711 (135-over par).

Ava Downie (Fifth • Hortonville) hit an 83 on Saturday (Oct. 5) and finished the day in a tie for fifth at 159 strokes (15-over par).
Taryn Endres (Jr. • Windsor) and
Sydney Bornhorst (Sr. • Grayslake, Ill.) both hold top-20 spots as well. Endres moved up 20 positions and ranks 13th with 164 strokes (20-over par). She had a 6-stroke improvement over Friday's round. Bornhorst is tied for 17th with 165 strokes (21-over par).

Chloe Strunk (Fr. • Waukesha) has 170 strokes (26-over par) and is tied for 31st,
Hailey Matenaer (Jr. • West Bend) remained at 41st with an 87, a 1-stroke improvement for 175 total (26-over par) and
Kylie Herrin (Jr. • Orland Park, Ill.) owns 45th with 177 total strokes (33-over par).

Rounding out the Titan golfers are
Josie Hofer (Sr. • Menominee, Mich.),
Alyssa Dreher (Sr. • Campbellsport) and
Sophia Steel (Jr. • Hoffman Estates, Ill.). Hofer is tied for 52nd with 182 strokes (38-over par), Dreher is 61st with 188 strokes (44-over par) and Steel is tied for 73rd with 200 strokes (56-over par).

The third and final day of the WIAC Championship will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 6).
