REEDSBURG, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's golf finished the 30th WIAC Championship with a fifth-place performance across the three-day meet on Sunday (Oct. 5), led by
Sophia Eggert's (Shawano/Shawano Community) 245 strokes (29-over par) for 11th.

UW-Stout won the team title with 935 strokes (71-over par) and Blue Devil Julia Imai won her second individual title in two years with 230 strokes (14-over par).

Eggert registered four birdies and 25 pars across 36 holes, tying four other golfers for 11th place, moving up from her 13th-place ranking after Saturday's (Oct. 4) round.

Hailey Matenaer (West Bend/West Bend East) and
Rylie Severson (Green Bay/Ashwaubenon) also claimed top-20 performances with 249 (33-over par) and 250 strokes (34-over par) for ties for 17th and 19th places. Matenaer had five birdies while Severson had two.

Taryn Endres (Windsor/DeForest) finished the meet with 253 strokes (37-over par), tying for 25th place. She recorded a birdie in of the three rounds.

Sydney Bornhorst (Grayslake, Ill./Warren Township) rounded out the Titans' attached golfers with a tied-for-50th performance by carding 266 strokes (50-over par).

Chloe Young (Waukesha/Bay Port) led UW-Oshkosh's independent golfers with 270 strokes (54-over par), taking 57th place.
Addison Edmunds (Kansas City, Mo./Appleton West (Wis.)) and
Addy Horne (Sheboygan Falls/Kohler) finished 69th and 70th with 287 and 288 strokes, respectively.
Ava Fahrenholz (West Bend/Slinger) recorded 302 strokes for 74th and
Aliza Koput (Tomah/Tomah) recorded 310 strokes for 77th.
