NORTHFIELD, Minn.-Â The UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team placed seventh at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championship, hosted by Carleton College (Minn.) on Saturday (Nov. 16). The Titans scored 186 points to place seventh. The meet was won by UW-La Crosse with 63 points and Hannah Preisser of Carleton won individually with a time of 21:24.
Amelia Lehman (Sr. • Oshkosh) guaranteed a spot at the national championship by finishing seventh in 22:15. This will be the 2024 WIAC individual champion's second cross country nationals appearance, also qualifying in 2022.
Libby Geisness (Sr. • Waukesha) captured All-Region honors by finishing 31st. Geisness finished the course in a time of 23:05.
Gracie Buchinger (So. • Kimberly) placed 37th, finishing in a time of 23:09.
Jamie Catania (Jr. • North Fond du Lac) ran a 23:18 for 44th place. The final point scorer for the Titans was
Cyna Madigan (Sr. • Rosendale), who ran 23:53 for 68th place.
MacKenzie Dix (Jr. • Green Bay) and
Gwen Feitl (Jr. • Wheaton, Ill.) finished in 84th and 85th respectively. Dix finished in a time of 24:18 and Feitl finished in a time of 24:21.
Lehman will compete next Saturday (Nov. 23) at the NCAA Division III National Championship in Terre Haute, Indiana.
