STEVENS POINT, Wis.-Â On Saturday (Nov. 2),
Amelia Lehman led the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team to a fifth place finish of 94 points at the WIAC Championship, hosted by UW-Stevens Point. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 37 points and Lehman captured her first individual cross country conference title in a time of 21:18, a new personal record.
Lehman (Sr. • Oshkosh) is the 19th individual champion in UW-Oshkosh history, the first since Hannah Lohrenz in 2021. Lehman also has the fastest time at the WIAC Championship since former Titan Christy Cazzola, who ran 21:16 in 2012.
Cyna Madigan (Sr. • Rosendale) captured another All-WIAC performance, taking 20th in a time of 22:18. This was also a new personal record for Madigan.
Jamie Catania (Jr. • Fond du Lac) finished in 22
nd with a time of 22:24, also getting a new personal record.
Libby Geisness (Sr. • Waukesha) finished in 22:30 for 24th place.
Gracie Buchinger (So. • Kimberly) was the Titans' final point scorer, finishing in 32nd place in a new personal record of 22:38.
Gwen Feitl (Jr. • Wheaton, Ill.) was sixth for the Titans, running a new personal record of 22:46 for 36th place.
MacKenzie Dix (Jr. • Green Bay) also picked up a new personal record, running 22:56 for 39th place.
Ella Kojis (Jr. • Waukesha) set a huge new personal record as well, running 22:59 for 40th place.
Allison Van Der Wegen (So. • Kaukauna) also added a new personal record, running 23:20, and finishing in 48th place.
Ceanna Dietz (Fr. • New Richmond) finished in 50th place, while running a personal record of 23:29.
Emma Maly (So. • Clinton) was the tenth Titan to set a new personal record, running 24:14 for 73rd place.
Zoe Watson (So. • Kiel) placed 79th, running 24:31.
The Titans return next Thursday (Nov. 7) for the Ripon College Red Hawk Open.
