GREEN LAKE, Wis.- On Thursday (Nov. 7), the UW-Oshkosh Titans women's cross country team competed at the Ripon Red Hawk Open held at Tuscumbia Golf Course in Green Lake. The Titans won the meet with 17 points, led by a first place finish from
Allison Van Der Wegen (So. • Kaukauna) in a time of 24:17.
The Titans' second and third runners were
Emma Boegh (Fr. • Berlin) and
Zoe Watson (So. • Kiel), who finished in second and third respectively, both running 25:16. Ella Galazewski (Jr. • West Allis) finished fourth in a time of 26:03.
Julia Strasser (Sr. • South Milwaukee) locked up the Titans' win with an eighth place finish in 26:34.
Paige Hagner (Sr. • Mukwonago) was Oshkosh's sixth runner, finishing in 12th in a time of 27:09.
The Titans travel to Northfield, Minnesota for the NCAA Division III North Regional Championship next Saturday (Nov. 16), hosted by Carleton College, hoping to punch their ticket to the Division III Championship.
