NAPERVILLE, Ill.- The UW-Oshkosh women's wrestling team competed in the North Central College (Ill.) Invitational on Sunday (Dec. 15), against teams from across the country. UW-Oshkosh placed 33rd of the 44 teams with nine team points.

Annesley Day (Fr. • Round Rock, Texas) won her first match of the day at 124-lbs. over Alexandra Fitzgerald of Sacred Heart University (Conn.) by a 10-4 decision. After falling to Iowa's Cali Leng, Day earned a 16-6 technical fall victory over Ava Rose of Iowa.

Mya Delleree (Fr. • Fredonia) also competed at 124-lbs and pinned Malia Welch from Southern Oregon University in 1:18.

In the 207-lb. bracket,
Alivia Davey (Fr. • Berlin) tallied three wins, including two by fall. She opened competition with a 6-4 decision over Grand Valley State University's (Mich.) Aaliyah Grandberry. Davey went on to win her first two match ups of the consolation bracket, pinning Marna Andre from UW-Stevens Point in 23 seconds and Madison Hazeltine from Albion College (Mich.) in 1:30.

The Titans will head to the Alma College (Mich.) Open on Sunday, Jan. 19 for their first meet after the new year. The first matches are set for noon eastern time.
