OSHKOSH, Wis.-Â UW-Oshkosh women's track & field won its two-day (Dec. 6-7) Early Bird Invitational/Multi with 194 points.
Megan Hunt highlighted the meet with a new program pentathlon record, scoring 3,482 points.
Hunt (Sr. • Lemont, Ill.), who reset her old multi record by 10 points, also jumped to second in the long jump with a 5.76-meter distance.
Zoe Watson (So. • Kiel) took third in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:18.56 to start off Saturday's track events. Ella Galasewski (Jr. • West Allis) finished seventh in 11:47.57 and
Julia Strasser (Sr. • South Milwaukee) grabbed eighth in 12:00.81.
Maddy LaVoi (So. • Ankeny, Iowa) won the 400-meter run in 58.61 seconds. In fourth and fifth were
Julia Steger (So. • Kewaskum) and
Jenna Pierre (Fr. • West Bend) with 59.79-second and 1:02.11 times.
Kaleigh Purswell (Fr. • Fond du Lac) took seventh with a 1:03.91 finish.
Amelia Lehman (Sr. • Oshkosh) won the mile run with a time of 5:01.67, and
Emma Boegh (Fr. • Berlin) took second with a time of 5:22.72.
Maddie Bertram (Sr. • Winnebago, Ill.) raced a 6:11.15 for seventh.
The Titans swept the top three positions of the 800-meter run, with
Cyna Madigan (Sr. • Rosendale) winning in a time of 2:13.72.
Ceanna Dietz (Fr. • New Richmond) took second in 2:18.16, and
Olivia Stenzel (Jr. • Sevastopol) took third in a time of 2:19.20.
Anabel Mitchell (Fr. • Oshkosh) added the Titans' fourth top-8 finish in the event with a 2:40.03 for seventh.
Andrea Glaz (Sr. • Oak Creek) took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.04 and fifth in the 60-meter dash at 7.83 seconds. She was followed in the 200 by
Addie Baker (Fr. • Delavan) in fourth at 26.09 seconds (17th fastest time in program history), LaVoi in sixth at 26.53 seconds, and Steger in seventh at 26.70 seconds.
The Titans also swept 5,000-meter run, with
Gwen Feitl (Jr. • Wheaton, Ill.) taking the win in 18:23.47. Second through sixth were filled out by
Jamie Catania (Jr. • Fond du Lac),
Ella Kojis (Jr. • Waukesha),
Allison VanDerWegen (So. • Kaukauna),
MacKenzie Dix (Jr. • Green Bay), and
Emma Maly (So. • Clinton).
The 4x400-meter relay consisting of Boegh, Dietz, Madigan, and Stenzel took second in a time of 4:03.61. The Titans 'B' squad finished sixth (4:39.97) and the 'A' squad took seventh (4:47.99).
Brenna Masloroff (Fifth Year • Franklin) led UW-Oshkosh in the field events with a 13.66-meter cast in the shot put for first place. She also finished third in the 20-lb. weight throw at 17.09 meters.
Sheila Tellock (Fr. • Loyal) and
Haley Kanitz (Jr. • Menomonee Falls) competed in the pole vault, marking heights of 3.35 and 3.20 meters for third and fourth respectively. Tellock is now tied for 13th-highest vault all-time for the Titans. Kanitz added a seventh place skip of 10.31 meters in the triple jump.
Bobbi Blahnik (Sr. • Algoma) threw 15.32 meters in the weight throw for fourth and 11.45 meters in the shot put for eighth.
Carly Huelskamp (Fr. • St. Germain) also represented the Titans in the top-8 of the shot put with a sixth place throw of 11.82 meters.
The Titans will return for the UW-Oshkosh Alumni Invitational on January 18, held at Kolf Sports Center.
