WHITEWATER, Wis.- On Saturday (Sept. 21), the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team competed at the Tom Hoffman Invitational hosted by UW-Whitewater. The Titans took fourth place with 108 points.

UW-Whitewater won the meet with 19 points, and Ari De La Cerda of Whitewater at a time of 23:16.

Zoe Watson (So. • Kiel) led the Titans with a strong 19th place finish in a time of 25:53. The middle point scorers for the Titans were
Emma Maly,
Autumn Jacks, and
Ella Galaszewski, who finished in 34th, 35th, and 36th respectively. Maly and Jacks ran 26:56, and Galaszewski ran 27:04. Jacks also recorded a new personal record. The fifth runner for the Titans was
Kate Haffner, who ran 27:23 for 39th place. Right behind her was
Maddie Bertram, who ran 27:26 for 40th. The seventh runner for the Titans was
Anabel Mitchell, who ran a new personal record of 27:51 and finished in 44th place.
Julia Strasser finished in 47th with a time of 28:11.

The Titans return in two weeks when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind for the NCAA Division III Pre-National Meet hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Ind.) on Friday, Oct. 4.
