DECATUR, Ill.- The UW-Oshkosh women's golf team wrapped up its regular fall season on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 27-28) at the Millikin University (Ill.) Dechert Classic, finishing third among the eight teams with 696 total strokes while standout
Taryn Endres won the individual title with 161.

Endres (Jr. • Windsor), shot an 81 on Friday and an 80 on Saturday, grabbing a piece of a three-way tie for first place with 161 strokes at 17-over par., the first top finish of her career. Illinois Wesleyan University's Grace Fagan and Renae Jaeger of Saint Mary-of-the Woods College (Ill.) also recorded 161 total strokes over the two-day meet at the South Side Country Club.

Illinois Wesleyan won the team title with 675 strokes, followed in second by Saint Mary-of-the-Woods with 678 strokes.

Two more Titans finished in the top-20 in Decatur.
Ava Downie (Fifth • Hortonville) recorded 167 strokes (23-over par) for sixth,
Sydney Bornhorst (Sr. • Grayslake, Ill.) moved up eight spots on Saturday to finish 12th with 174 (30-over par) and
Hailey Matenaer (Jr. • West Bend) 177 (33-over par), 19th.

Josie Hofer (Sr. • Menominee, Mich.) took 27th by hitting a 184 (40-over par) and
Chloe Strunk (Fr. • Waukesha) registered 186 strokes (42-over par), finishing 30th in the 53-golfer field.

UW-Oshkosh will play host during the WIAC Championship from Friday to Sunday (Oct. 4-6) at the Reedsburg Country Club and look to secure the first league title since the 2015-16 season.
