KENOSHA, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's wrestling finished Sunday's (Dec. 7) Carthage College Classic in fifth place among the 17-team field with 64.5 points. The Titans earned three top-four finishes.

Mya Delleree (Fredonia/Ozaukee) paced Oshkosh's place winners with a third-place finish in the 131-pound bracket. Â She opened her day with a 13-6 decision over Cera Philson from UW-Stevens Point and each of her next two matches by pins in less than 32 seconds. Following a loss by pin in the semifinal round, Delleree beat Philson again, this time by 6-4 decision.

At 103 pounds,
Isabel Paz (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) had a first-round bye and won her first match of the meet by default before shutting out
Myra Bair (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) by 8-0 decision. She lost by fall in the next two matches on her way to fourth place.

Aliana Rauter (Milwaukee/Ronald Reagan) took fourth at 124 pounds with wins of 11-0 over Joliet Junior College's Charlotte Pedroza and 2:41 pin over Kendall Smith from Elmhurst University (Ill.).

In the 117-pound bracket,
Haley Dezelske (Holmen/Holmen) posted wins over Elmhurst's Jala Singleton (5:27 pin) and Midway UNIVERSITY's (Ky.) Jillian Ellis (4-0 decision).

Bair,
Nellie Stagg (West Liberty, Iowa/West Liberty), and
Ella Creighton (Lake Geneva/Badger) each one a match at 103, 180, and 145 pounds respectively.
Evelyn Hurley (Peshtigo/Peshtigo),
Mackenzie Stanton (New Berlin/New Berlin), and
Natalie Gratschmayr (Greendale/Martin Luther) went winless in the meet.
