MENOMINEE, Wis. - On Friday (Jan. 31) and Saturday (Feb. 1), the UW-Oshkosh men's track and field team traveled to the Warren Bowlus Invite hosted by UW-Stout.
In a competitive heptathlon field,
Charlie Nolan (Jr. • Normal, Ill.) placed second with 5121 points.
Cavan Dobberstein (So. • Manawa) was right behind him in third place with 4839 points.
Aden Sears (Sr. • Eureka, Ill.) collected the first win for the Titans, winning the 60 meter hurdles in 8.25 seconds, setting a meet record. The 4x400 meter relay of
Jett Breed (So. • Oswego, Ill.),
Xavier Lasee (Grad. • Fond du Lac),
Lucas Nicholson (So. • Pewaukee), and
Ryan Potter (Jr. • Oak Creek) took third place with a time of 3:32.63.
Also competing this week was pole vaulter
Zach Zirgibel (Sr. • Merton), who traveled to Whitewater. He finished in third place with a vault of 4.59 meters.
The Titans return next Saturday (Feb. 8) as they travel to Ripon for the Red Hawk Invitational.
