MENOMINEE, Wis. – The UW-Oshkosh women's track and field team traveled to the Warren Bowlus Invite hosted by UW-Stout on Friday (Jan. 31) and Saturday (Feb. 1).
The Titans 800 meter crew not only collected the first win of the day for the Titans, but also managed to sweep the top three.
Cyna Madigan (Sr. • Rosendale) led the way, winning with a new meet record of 2:14.11.
Ceanna Dietz (Fr. • New Richmond) was right behind her in second with 2:16.51, and
Olivia Stenzel (Jr. • Sevastopol) was third with 2:17.63.
Amelia Lehman (Sr. • Oshkosh) claimed gold in the 3000 meter run, winning in a time of 10:02.77. The Titans also secured the win in the 4x400 meter relay in 4:04.98. The team consisted of
Olivia Stenzel,
Emma Boegh (Fr. • Berlin),
Ceanna Dietz, and
Cyna Madigan. In the field,
Megan Hunt (Sr. • Lemont, Ill.) won the long jump with 5.72 meters.
The Titans return next Saturday (Feb. 8) as they travel to Ripon for the Red Hawk Invitational.
