STEVENS POINT, Wis.- On Friday (Feb. 28), the UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team traveled to the WIAC Championship (presented by Culver's), hosted by UW-Stevens Point. After the first day of competition, the Titans sit in third place with 35 points. UW-La Crosse leads with 119.5 points.
Megan Hunt (Sr. • Lemont, Ill.), the 2024 WIAC Field Performer of the Meet, earned the Titans their first individual title, jumping 5.92 meters in the long jump.
Brenna Masloroff (Fifth • Franklin) claimed a silver medal in the shot put, throwing 13.41 meters.
Maddy LaVoi (So. • Ankeny, Iowa) was the first Titan to win a conference medal on the track, taking third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.05 seconds.
Addie Baker (Fr. • Delavan) finished in fifth with a time of 58.41 seconds.
Jamie Catania (Jr. • Fond du Lac) claimed fifth place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:16.21.
The Titans' distance medley relay team took sixth place with a time of 12:41.12. The team consisted of
Ella Kojis (Jr. • Waukesha) running the 1,200-meter,
Cyna Madigan (Sr. • Rosendale) running the 400-meter,
Olivia Stenzel (Jr. • Sevastopol) running the 800-meter, and
Emma Boegh (Fr. • Berlin) running the mile.
The Titans continue their quest for the 14th indoor title in program history on Saturday (Mar. 1).
