OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's track & field team hit the ground running on its home track for the first time in 11 years on Friday and Saturday (April 11-12) for the Titan Invitational. Numerous personal bests and a pair of school records were recorded at the Oshkosh Sports Complex.

Riley Szymik (Fr. • Appleton) started the first final round of the meet by finishing third in the 1,500-meter dash, running a 4:07.68.
Alex Arndt (Fr. • Milwaukee) claimed fifth in 4:09.65 in his outdoor home debut.

Brady Larson (Fr. • Maroa, Ill.) finished the 110-meter hurdles in third with a personal best performance of 14.70 seconds.

In the 100-meter dash, Davien Willems (Jr. • De Pere) claimed victory in a blazing time of 10.33 seconds and following short behind was
Eddie Jones (Fr. • Waukesha) in a personal best 10.54 seconds for third.
Danny Vinson (Fifth • Berrien Springs, Mich.),
Nolan Milas (So. • Virgil, Ill.),
Dylan Gramley (Jr. • Plainfield, Ill.), and
Jaylin Boatman (Sr. • Chicago, Ill.) finished fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth.

Tyran Bender (Fr. • Bourbonnais, Ill.) turned in a personal best of 47.93 seconds in the 400-meter dash for first place.
Matthew Eiden (So. • Stevens Point) took second with a personal best time of 48.82 seconds and
Joshua Rivers (Jr. • Bolingbrook, Ill.) finished third in 48.90 seconds.
Tray Janssen (Fr. • De Pere) and
Elijah Terrell (Fr. • Beloit, Wis.) finished in 50.89 and 50.96 seconds for fifth and sixth place respectively.

The Titans had two racers in the top-three in the 400-meter hurdles.
Daniel Wilson (Fr. • Sun Prairie) won in 55.19 seconds and
Weston Lerdal (Sr. • Neenah) finished the race in third with a time of 56.54 seconds.
Brady Larson (Fr. • Maroa, Ill.) raced to eighth in 58.64 seconds.

Londyn Little (Sr. • Columbia, Ill.) finished first in the 200-meter dash in a time of 20.75, breaking his own program record by 0.24 seconds and besting the previous facility record set by Wille Hordge from Buffalo State College (N.Y.) during the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship. Davien Willems (Sr. • De Pere) finished the race in second with a time of 21.20 seconds followed by
Nolan Milas (So. • Virgil, Ill.) who finished third in 21.27 seconds. Jones, Janssen, and Vinson rounded out the top eight with the final three spots.

In the pole vault,
Owen Kuhne (Fr. • Madison) and
Ethan Pinkerton (Fr. • Oshkosh) finished the meet in a tie for third with marks of 4.12 meters.

In the 4x400-meter relay it was the team of
Weston Lerdal (Sr. • Neenah), Bender, Eiden, and Rivers who claimed victory in 3:17.76.

In the high jump,
Kyle Wisniewski (So. • New London) soared to a height of 2.03 meters finishing third.
Caleb Cornelius (Sr. • Racine) jumped 1.88 meters for sixth and
Kendrick Cyracus (Jr. • Plainfield, Ill.) jumped 1.83 meters for eighth.

For the long jump,
Caleb Wright (Jr. • Oswego, Ill.) claimed victory in a personal best jump of 7.42 meters followed by
Londyn Little (Sr. • Columbia, Ill.) who set a mark of 7.11 meters finishing second. Wright's mark broke the UW-Whitewater's Derek Stanley's facility record that had stood since the 2006 WIAC Outdoor Championship.
Cameron McAndrews (Fr. • West Bend) took fourth with a best distance of 6.28 meters.

Max Milbrath (Fr. • Pecatonica, Ill.) finished the triple jump with a mark of 13.51 meters and took second. In fourth place was
Ben Lissa (So. • East Moline, Ill.) with a 13.17-meter skip.

The hammer throw was busy on Saturday as
Gavin Fritsch (Jr. • Little Chute) made a divot in the competition finishing first throwing a personal best of 61.42 meters, followed closely by
Kieran Maude (Jr. • Palatine, Ill.) who also threw for a personal best mark of 57.13 meters and finished third.
Steven Wauer (Jr. • Muskego) threw 47.98 meters for sixth place.

The Titans were once again led by Fritsch in the discus throw. He threw for a mark of 49.83 meters and took second. Maude threw for a personal best mark 45.65 meters and took third while
Bryce Hale (So. • Kimberly), Wauer, and
Isaiah Isom (Jr. • Lansing, Ill.) took fourth, fifth and eighth.

In the shot put, Isom made his return from injury by claiming victory with a throw of 15.30 meters.
Cameron Bendixen (Jr. • DeForest) finished second with a mark of 14.56 meters and Maude claimed third at 14.42 meters.
Jacob Fritsch (Jr. • Little Chute) threw 13.73 meters for sixth and
Jack Wellhoefer (Fr. • Omro) grabbed eighth at 13.65 meters.

Oshkosh's second program record fell in the decathlon, which wrapped up its two days of action with the final five events.
Charlie Nolan (Jr. • Normal, Ill.) broke 2018 UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame inductee
Kevin Deering's long-standing record of 7,103 points with 7,139 of his own. He won six of the individual events between Friday and Saturday.
Payton White (Fifth • Berrien Springs, Mich.) finished third with a personal best points score of 6303.

The Titans will head out to the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge on Thursday and Friday (April 17-18) and up to the Lawrence University Viking Twilight on Thursday for their next meets.
