APPLETON, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's track & field team continued its dominant start to the outdoor season with 14 first place finishes at the Lawrence University Viking Twilight Invitational on Wednesday (April 16), including a new program record for
Aden Sears in the 110-meter hurdles.

Aden Sears (Sr. • Eureka, Ill.), set the program record in the 110-meter hurdles with a first-place time of 14.31 seconds.
Brady Larson (Fr. • Maroa, Ill.) joined him in the event with a 15.08-second finish for second place.

Alex Peterson (So. • Oconto Falls) started the meet off for Oshkosh by winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:40.00.

Danny Vinson (Fifth • Berrien Springs, Mich.),
Dylan Gramley (Jr. • Plainfield, Ill.),
Londyn Little (Sr. • Columbia),
Eddie Jones (Fr. • Waukesha) ran a 40.78 second time for first place.

In the 1,500-meter run,
Alex Arndt (Fr. • Milwaukee) place second in 4:10.06.

Tray Janssen (Fr. • De Pere) placed first in the 400-meter dash in 51.22 seconds, followed by
Christian Thompson (Fr. • Milwaukee) in seventh with a personal best time of 54.33 seconds.

Little won the 100-meter dash in 10.55 seconds, followed in second place by Jones in 10.72 seconds.
Ray Talbert (Sr. • Waterloo, Iowa) set a personal best time of 10.89 seconds for third place. Vinson took fourth in 10.90, Gramley fifth in 10.91,
Henry Kennedy (So. • Carpentersville, Ill.) sixth in 11.07, and
Carter Amerson (Fr. • Wausau) eighth in 11.15.

Riley Szymik (Fr. • Appleton) ran a personal best 2:00.04 for first place.

Weston Lerdal (Sr. • Neenah)
Cavan Dobberstein (So. • Manawa) took first and second in the 400-meter hurdles with times of 56.29 and 58.91 seconds. Dobberstein set a personal record.

UW-Oshkosh claimed seven of the top-eight positions in the 200-meter dash, led by Little in 21.35 seconds. Jones took third in a personal best time of 21.63 seconds, Gramley ran a 21.79 for fourth,
Joshua Rivers (Jr. • Bolingbrook, Ill.) took fifth with a personal best time of 21.87 seconds,
Payton White (Fifth • Berrien Springs, Mich.) grabbed sixth in 21.87 seconds, a personal best,
Charlie Nolan (Jr. • Normal, Ill.) took seventh in a personal best time of 22.08 seconds, and Janssen claimed eighth in 22.13 seconds.

Owen Kuhne (Fr. • Madison) cleared 4.16 meters for fourth place.

With a best height of 1.96 meters,
Kyle Wisniewski (So. • New London) won the high jump.
Matthew Ewens (Jr. • New Berlin) took second at 1.91 meters,Â
Cameron McAndrews (Fr. • West Bend) jumped 1.86 meters for third, and White cleared 1.81 meters for sixth.

Nolan finished the long jump in first place at 7.04 meters. McAndrews grabbed third at 6.53 meters, Thompson fourth at 6.52 meters,
Sochim Ozoh (Fr. • Homewood, Ill.) sixth at 6.14 meters, and Matt Scholbe (Jr. • Muskego) eighth at 6.09.

In the discus throw,
Gavin Fritsch (Jr. • Little Chute) marked off a 51.32-meter distance for first.
Kieran Maude (Jr. • Palatine, Ill.) took second with a best distance of 44.70 meters,
Bryce Hale (So. • Kimberly) threw 43.76 meters for third,
Jack Wellhoefer (Fr. • Omro), threw a personal best 41.86 meters for fourth, and
Steven Wauer (Jr. • Muskego), threw 41.50 meters for fifth.

For the second straight meet,
Isaiah Isom (Jr. • Lansing, Ill.) won the shot put, throwing 15.19 meters. Wellhoefer set a personal best distance of 14.81 meters for second and
Cameron Bendixen (Jr. • DeForest) claimed third at 14.65 meters.
Jacob Fritsch (Jr. • Little Chute) and Hale took sixth and eighth with marks of 13.71 and 12.00 meters respectively.

Eathan Lund (Fr. • Hortonville) threw a personal best 43.90 meters in the javelin throw for second place.

Gavin Fritsch won the Titans' final event of the day with a 59.72-meter cast in the hammer throw. Hale followed in second at 54.84 meters, Maude third at 53.08, Wauer fourth at 46.44,
Jacob Fritsch sixth at 41.01, and Wellhoefer seventh at 39.58.
