LA CROSSE, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team competed in its first outdoor meet in Wisconsin on Saturday (April 5) at the UW-La Crosse Ashton May Invitational. The Titans placed seventh with 64 points.

Gwen Feitl (Jr. • Wheaton, Ill.) led the Titan contingent in the 5,000-meter run with a fourth-place finish of 18:46.65.
Emma Maly (So. • Clinton) and
Olivia Schwarm (Sr. • Madison) took seventh and eighth with times of 20:24.64 and 20:38.46 respectively.

Amelia Lehman (Sr. • Oshkosh) finished the 1,500-meter run in 4:41.08 for third place. She was followed by
Libby Geisness (Sr. • Waukesha) with a personal best time of 4:41.78 for fourth place.

In the 400-meter run,
Maddy LaVoi (So. • Ankeny, Iowa) ran a 58.56 for third.

Olivia Stenzel (Jr. • Sevastopol) crossed the finish line second in the 800-meter run with a 2:20.21 finish. Lehman followed Stenzel with a sixth-place time of 2:25.41.

Andrea Glaz (Sr. • Oak Creek) took eighth with a time of 25.69 seconds in the 200-meter run.

The 4x400-meter relay squad of Stenzel,
Cyna Madigan (Sr. • Rosendale),
Emma Boegh (Fr. • Berlin), and Geisness ran a 4:05.47 for fourth place.

Brenna Masloroff (Fifth • Franklin) took second in the shot put with a best mark of 13.10 meters before winning the hammer throw by throwing 55.57 meters.

The Titans will return to the Oshkosh Sports Complex on Friday and Saturday (April 11-12) for their first outdoor home competition since hosting the 2014 WIAC Outdoor Championships.
