OSHKOSH, Wis.- On Friday (Sept. 19), the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team debuted its new course, the XC Ranch on the north side of Oshkosh, for the UW-Oshkosh Titan Fall Classic.
 
The Titans placed third of the five teams, scoring 85 points. UW-Stevens Point took home the win with 56 points.
 
Gwen Feitl (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville South) led the Titans as the lone finisher in the top ten. She ran 22:52 for her second-best time ever, taking ninth place. 
Lehna Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North) was the first Titan to get a new personal record. The freshman ran 22:58 for 12th place. 
Emma Boegh (Berlin/Berlin) followed with a personal record as well, finishing 14th in 23:23.
 
Ashley Groothoff (Two Rivers/Two Rivers) also ran a personal best as the Titans' fourth runner. She finished in 28th place with a time of 24:03. The final point scorer was 
Allison VanDerWegen (Kaukauna/Kaukauna), who finished in 24:19 for 34th place.
 
Piper Johnson (Poynette/Poynette) continued the string of personal bests, running 24:29 for 38th place. Oshkosh's seventh runner was 
Ella Galaszewski (West Allis/Nathan Hale). The senior ran a new personal record of 25:10 for 45th place.
 
Amari Siegfried (Menomonee Falls/Brookfield East) added on another personal record for the Titans, finishing in a time of 25:13 for 48th. 
Josie Makurat (Fairfax, Va./Woodson) finished in 50th place, running a time of 25:37. Another personal record went to 
Anabel Mitchell (Oshkosh/Oshkosh North), who ran 25:56 for 52nd place.
 
Madeline Osmanski (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs), 
Rylee Hucke (Johnson Creek/Johnson Creek), and 
Leah Modjeski (Sparta/Sparta) all ran personal records. The pack finished in 60th, 61st, and 62nd. Osmanski ran a 26:32, Hucke a 26:35, and Modjeski a 26:55.
Adriana Garcia (Green Bay/Green Bay East) ran her first race in two years and recorded a new personal best of 27:35. She finished in 66th place. Annie Jessie also ran a new personal record, running 28:05 for 68th. 
Athena Soto (Whitewater/Whitewater) finished in 71st with a time of 29:03. 
Alayna Gallenberg (Muskego/Muskego) made her debut, running 29:43 for 73rd.
 
The Titans will head north next to compete in the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on Friday, October 3.
