MADISON, Wis.- Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute Career Pathways Academy) earned the WIAC's Kwik Trip Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday (Feb. 17) following his record-breaking performance over the weekend.

Fritsch won the weight throw at the UW-Whitewater Midwest Elite Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 14), with a best distance of 68-0 1/2 (20.74m). His mark broke Pete Delzer's 13-year-old program record, leads NCAA Division III this season and sits ninth in Division III history.
