CORALVILLE, Iowa- The UW-Oshkosh women's golf team placed seventh among the nine teams competing at the two-day (April 13-14) Mustang Spring Invitational, hosted by NAIA member Mount Mercy University (Iowa) at Brown Deer Golf Club. The Titans scored 715 strokes and St. Catherine University (Minn.) won with 634 strokes.

The Titans were led with a sixth-place finish by
Rylie Severson (Green Bay/Ashwaubenon). Severson shot 162 strokes (18-over par) over both days, with a 79 (7-over par) on Monday and an 83 (11-over par) on Tuesday. She recorded two birdies on both days.

Addy Horne (Sheboygan Falls/Kohler) and
Taryn Endres (Windsor/DeForest) tied for 30th, shooting matching scores of 181 strokes (37-over par) across 36 holes. Horne shot 22-over par on day one and 15-over on day two, including a birdie. Endres shot 20-over par on the first day and 17-over on the second day.

The final scoring golfer for the Titans was
Chloe Young (Waukesha/Bay Port), who shot 191 strokes (47-over par). Young shot a 95 (23-over par) and a 96 (24-over par), finishing in a tie for 43rd.

Ava Fahrenholz (West Bend/Slinger) also competed for the Titans, taking 47th with a total of 198 strokes (54-over par).

Aliza Koput (Tomah/Tomah) competed as an individual for the Titans and totaled 212 strokes (68-over par).

The Titans finish their spring season on Sunday, April 26. They travel to Onalaska to play in the UW-La Crosse Invitational at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek.
