MADISON, Wis.- Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute Career Pathways Academy) was named the WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career on Tuesday (April 7) following his performances at the UW-La Crosse Ashton May Invitational.

Fritsch won a pair of events in his first outdoor meet of the season, claiming the top spot in the discus and hammer throw in La Crosse on Friday (April 3). His 48.85-meter mark in the discus ranks No. 20 in NCAA Division III this season, while his 58.80-meter throw in the hammer ranks sixth.
