SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Cameron Cullen (Kewaunee/Kewaunee),
Paul Proteau (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield), and
Trent Chadwick (Poynette/Poynette) represented the UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team at the NCAA Division III Championship on Saturday (Nov. 22).

Cameron Cullen (Kewaunee/Kewaunee) achieved both his first career All-America honor and the first for the Titans since 2019 by racing the course at Roger Milliken Center in 24:26 to cap off his collegiate career.

Some highlights from Cullen's career include two NCAA All-Region performances (2023 and 2025), an All-WIAC Second Team selection (2025), and two NCAA Championship appearances (finished 135th in 2023). Cullen's 2025 season included wins at the UW-River Falls River Town Invitational and UW-Oshkosh Fall Classic, a seventh-place finish at the Augustana College (Ill.) Interregional Invitational, an All-WIAC performance (ninth), and an All-Region performance (ninth) at the NCAA North Regional Championship in Colfax on Saturday, November 15.

Paul Proteau (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield) competed in his second national meet on Saturday and finished in 163rd place with a time of 25:44. Like Cullen, Proteau also owns two career All-Region performances (2023 and 2025), an All-WIAC Honorable Mention award (2025), and two national championship appearances (finished 91st in 2023).

Proteau's season was highlighted by a second-place finish at the UW-River Falls River Town Invitational, 17th place at the WIAC Championship for his first All-WIAC honor, and a 13th-place finish at the North Regional Championship.

Trent Chadwick (Poynette/Poynette) made his first national championship appearance in his final cross country meet, completing the course in 25:45 to finish 165th. He also achieved his first All-Region honor last week at the North Regional Championship.

Chadwick's season included top-10 finishes at the UW-River Falls River Town Invitational and the UW-Oshkosh Fall Classic to start the year, a personal record of 24:58 at the WIAC Championship, and the All-Region performance of 25:34 to clinch his spot in Saturday's championship.

UW-La Crosse captured the team title for the second year in a row, scoring 82 points. State University of New York Geneseo finished second with 132, Wartburg College (Iowa) third with 133, and New York University fourth with 175. Emmanuel Leblond of Johns Hopkins University (Md.) won the individual title with a time of 23:35. Rounding out the top five were Mohammed Bati of Augsburg College (Minn.) (23:39), Isaac Vanwestrienen of Cornell College (Iowa) (23:39), Ryan Hagan of SUNY Geneseo (23:52), and Grant Matthai of UW-La Crosse (23:53).
