MADISON, Wis.- Ryan Hanson (McHenry, Ill./McHenry Community) was named the WIAC Kwik Trip Wrestler of the Week for the first time in his career on Tuesday (Dec. 23) after going undefeated in three duals in Nashville, Tennessee last week.

Hanson went undefeated at the Gator 'Boots' Duals on Saturday (Dec. 20), with two wins by pin fall and victory by decision at 133 pounds. He outdueled Blaise Verdino of Ursinus College (Pa.), 18-15, in the Titans' first dual of the day before helping UW-Oshkosh pick up the 36-13 win over Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio) with a 1:32 pin of Reid Prenger. Hanson took Hunter Rabun from Huntingdon College (Pa.) to the mat in 43 seconds during a 22-22 tiebreaker loss between the Titans and Hawks.
