NORMAL, Ill.- The UW-Oshkosh women's golf team finished the two-day Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic on Sunday (Sept. 14), placing 12th among the 19 teams competing with 646 total strokes.

Illinois Wesleyan won the team title with 298 total strokes while DePauw University's (Ill.) Becky Williams won the individual crown with 139 strokes (5-under par).

Rylie Severson (Green Bay/Ashwaubenon) led the Titans with a tied-for-22nd-place finish. She recorded 156 strokes (12-over par). She finished her first round on Saturday (Sept. 13) in 10th place with 75 strokes (3-over par) which included two birdies.

Sophia Eggert (Shawano/Shawano Community) moved up to 49th place from 77th in the final round and finished with 163 strokes (19-over par) while
Hailey Matenaer (West Bend/West Bend East) also shot a 163 to tie her teammate for 49th place.

Sydney Bornhorst (Grayslake, Ill./Warren Township) ad
Taryn Endres (Windsor/DeForest) tied for 64th place with 166 strokes (22-over par) and
Chloe Young (Waukesha/Bay Port) placed 114th at 44-over par (188 strokes).

The Titans wrap up their regular season fall schedule next weekend (Sept. 19-20) at the Benedictine University (Ill.) Midwest Region Classic at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville.
