Levendoski Joins Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff

OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's basketball head coach Brad Fischer announced Claire Levendoski has joined his coaching staff as the top assistant on Tuesday (May 19).

"I could not be more excited to announce the addition of Claire to our coaching staff." Fischer said. "Coming from an incredible program like Mankato, she already has an understanding of what it's like to prepare and compete for championships every single day. I know I speak for our players in saying we can't wait to get to work with her. We've had a great offseason and Claire absolutely makes our program better."

Levandoski comes to Oshkosh from NCAA Division II Mankato State University Mankato, where she spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach on the women's basketball team. While in Mankato, she helped lead the Mavericks to a 64-11 overall record and a 39-5 mark in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The Mavericks won the NSIC regular season title in 2026 and played in the conference tournament championship game both years before qualifying for the 2025 and 2026 NCAA Division II Championship as an at-large bid.

Levendoski began her collegiate playing career at Marian University. She averaged 8.6 points and 3.1 rebounds across 59 games from 2020-22 before transferring to Benedictine University (Ill.) to finish out her career. With the Eagles from 2023-24, the Waukesha native played in 51 games, averaging 3.45 points and 1.61 rebounds.

Levendoski earned her bachelor's degree from Benedictine with a major in exercise sport science and a minor in strength and conditioning. She graduated from Mankato with her master's degree in sport management this spring.

Outside of collegiate coaching, Levendoski coached for Chapman Basketball Academy (2019-21) and 1on1 Milwaukee (2022-24). She is also the founder and head trainer of Jump Shot Academy.
