APPLETON, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team competed at Lawerence University's Gene Davis Invitational Saturday (Oct. 11), placing third among the seven teams with 60 points.

Lawrence won the meet with 33 points and UW-Oshkosh alumnus Steve Potter claimed the individual title in 24:03 as a member of the Driftless Distance Project.

Lucas Nicholson (Pewaukee/Pewaukee) led the Titans, picking up a personal record of 26:02 in his 17th-place finish.
Alex Arndt (Milwaukee/Saint Thomas More) and
Riley Szymik (Appleton/Appleton North) placed 21st and 22nd respectively, both picking up career bests of 26:04 and 26:07 on the way.
Joe Hertel (West Allis/Nathan Hale) ran a season best of 26:16 in his 26th place finish.
Zac Watson (Waukesha/Waukesha South) was the final point scorer for the Titans, running a personal record by over a minute, placing 30th in 26:30.

Owen Bostwick (Whitefish Bay/Whitefish Bay) ran a season-best time of 26:33, good for 33rd place.
Noah Callahan (Barlett, Ill./South Elgin) and Juan Godinez Ramos both ran 26:39 for 36th and 37th respectively. Both freshmen picked up  personal records.
Brady Lewis (Cedarburg/Cedarburg) ran a 27:19 for 56th place, his best time this season.
Zachary Dietsch (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers) also ran a season best, finishing in 67th in 27:44.
Celso Collins (Oshkosh/Oshkosh West) placed 70th and ran a personal best of 27:50.

Ashtyn Anderson and
Owen Koele (Reeseville/Waterloo) both set personal records, placing 74th and 75th, respectively. Anderson finished in 28:07 and Koele ran a 28:09.
Nate Gindt (Fond du Lac/Horace Mann) made his return to the cross country course and placed 78th in 28:10.
Jett Breed (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) set a personal record of 28:19 and placed 83rd.

Reid Cross (Winchester/Winneconne) set a season best of 28:23, placing 85th, while
Kaleb Plate (Chilton/Chilton) ran his best collegiate time at 28:27, good for 87th place.
Ben O'Brien (Cecil/Bonduel) completed the course in 28:36, placing 92nd.
Noah Mosley (Waukesha/Waukesha North) and
Zach Osmanski (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) finished in 28:52 and 28:53.

The Titans return on Saturday, October 18, as they travel to Rock Island, Illinois to face off against some of the best teams the country in the Augustana College (Ill.) Interregional Invitational.
