MADISON, Wis.- Courtney Carpenter (Oshkosh/Oshkosh West) and Olivia Pethan (Oshkosh/Fox Valley Lutheran) were named the WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Tennis Doubles Athletes of the Week on Tuesday (Sept. 30) after winning their No. 1 doubles match against UW-Stout last week.

Carpenter and Pethan moved to 6-1 on the season on Friday (Sept. 26), during the Titans' 7-0 win over UW-Stout at home with a 6-0 win at No. 1 singles over Prajna Hosamane and Gretchen Murphy. The win was UW-Oshkosh's fifth straight and the fourth in a row with a 7-0 result. 

Carpenter earned her third career doubles player of the week nod on Tuesday, having previous partnered with Alexandra Schmoldt (Sept. 26-Oct. 2, 2022) and Ella Nguyen (Oct. 9-15, 2023). Earning her second career doubles honor, Pethan and Alysa Pattee (Waupun/Waupun) were named the conference's doubles partners of the week for the period of September 23-29, 2024, the same week she was also named the league's singles player of the week.
