ATLANTA- The awards kept coming on Thursday (March 19) afternoon as UW-Oshkosh women's basketball sophomore forward
Paige Seckar (Oshkosh/Oshkosh West) was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) 10-player All-America First Team and junior guard
Sammi Beyer (Appleton/Appleton East) earned All-America Honorable Mention laurels.

Seckar, the 2026 WIAC and D3hoops.com Region 9 Player of the Year, and Beyer, an All-WIAC First Team and D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team honoree, became the first pair of Titans to be named All-America since UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame inductees
Natalie DeMichei and
Wendy Wangerin were named to the honorable mention team in 1995.

UW-Oshkosh (28-3) has now had an All-American in 10 of the last 12 seasons.

Seckar paces the Titans with 13.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.4 blocks per game this season. Seckar, who averages 2.2 assists per contest, also leads the WIAC in free throw attempts (138), blocks (42) and double-doubles (8) while shooting 49 percent (148-302) from the field, 37.5 percent (12-32) from 3-point range and 77.5 percent (107-138) at the free throw line.

Seckar has scored in double figures 24 times this season and poured in 20 or more points on four occasions. She tallied a season-best 24 points at UW-Eau Claire on February 11. Seckar's season-high performances also include 12 rebounds in three games, five assists during two contests, four blocks and four steals.

Seckar recorded double-doubles of 12 points and 11 rebounds against Pacific University (Ore.) on December 6, 17 points and 10 boards versus both Minnesota Morris on December 28 and UW-La Crosse on January 7, 19 points and 11 rebounds at UW-Whitewater on January 28, 13 points and 12 boards at UW-Stevens Point on February 21, 12 points and 10 rebounds against UW-La Crosse on February 27, 21 points and 12 boards against Wisconsin Lutheran College during the NCAA second round March 7, and 15 points and 11 rebounds against University of Chicago (Ill.) in the Elite Eight on March 14.

Beyer is averaging 12.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and a team-leading 3.1 assists per game on the year. Her 2.29 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks 10th in the country.

Beyer has shot 146-for-358 (40.8 percent) from the floor, 54-for-157 (34.4 percent) from beyond the 3-point arc and 30-for-36 (83.3 percent) at the foul line. Beyer's 54 made 3-pointers lead the squad and rank second in the WIAC.

Beyer has scored at least 10 points during each of Oshkosh's past 11 games and notched double-digit point totals 21 times overall this season. She had a season-high 23 points against both UW-Stout on January 24 and UW-Stevens Point on February 21. Beyer also had 22-point efforts against UW-Stout on February 14 and UChicago during the sectional final March 14.

Beyer's other season bests were seven rebounds in back-to-back conference games against UW-Stevens Point on February 21 and UW-River Falls on February 25, nine assists against Wheaton College (Ill.) on November 22, and three steals against UW-Eau Claire on January 21. She has committed zero or one turnover during 20 contests this season.

Seckar and Beyer became the 12th and 13th Titans to earn the 17th and 18th WBCA All-America honors in program history.

Seckar was joined on the first team by senior guard Jaycie Christopher from University of Southern Maine, senior center Elsa Daulerio from Bates College (Maine), graduate student guard/forward Brianna Fitzgerald from SUNY New Paltz, senior forward Natalie Gricius from Carroll University, senior guard Kaci Kranson from University of Scranton (Pa.), junior forward Macy Miller from Ohio Wesleyan University, senior forward/guard Caroline Peper from New York University, senior forward/center Mary Schleusner from Washington and Lee University (Va.), and junior guard Ada Taute from Denison University (Ohio).

Earning honorable mention status alongside Beyer were 39 student-athletes from around the nation. Denison added honors for junior guard Abby Cooch, NYU added junior guard Brooke Batchelor and Scranton added senior guard Kaeli Romanowski. Fellow WIAC member UW-River Falls was represented by senior guard Zoey Buchan while two players on other teams the Titans faced earlier in the season were honored on the honorable mention team – junior center Lexy Harris from Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) and senior guard Caydee Kirkham from Coe College (Iowa).

Peper was named the Division III Player of the Year and NYU head coach Meg Barber earned Division III Coach of the Year honors for the third time in five years.

Denison's Taute, NYU's Peper and Scranton's Kranson will join Seckar and Beyer at the Final Four on Thursday night. The Titans and Big Red open the national semifinal round in the Cregger Center at 4 p.m. (CDT) and the Violets and Lady Royals play in the second game at 6:30 p.m. (CDT).

The semifinal winners will play for the 43rd NCAA Division III Women's Basketball title on Saturday (March 21) at 3 p.m. (CDT) following a day of rest and community service.
