Lee Wyngaard received four letters each in the sports of football and baseball while attending UW-Oshkosh from 1972-76.
His talents were rewarded on a nationally when he received All-America honorable mention honors in football during the 1975 season and All-America second team honors in baseball during the 1976 season by the NAIA.
While a member of the UW-Oshkosh baseball team as catcher the Titans captured two WSUC baseball titles and made two appearances in the NAIA World Series. Wyngaard batted .267 and knocked in 10 runs on UW-Oshkosh's 1973 team which placed third at the NAIA World Series. In four years at UW-Oshkosh he compiled a .303 batting average with 80 runs batted in.
In 1975, he toured the Orient with the USA All-Star baseball team.
The Kimberly native also enjoyed success in football at UW-Oshkosh, starting as center on the 1972 team which won the WSUC title.
Since leaving UW-Oshkosh, Wyngaard has coached football, baseball, swimming and track at the junior high school and high school level.
Wyngaard currently serves as athletic director, assistant football and head wrestling coach at Necedah High School.
